I haven't shared a picture of Teddy in a really long time. I mean, I haven't really blogged in a really long time. But, here's one from Christmas....
This little fur-ball is such a frisky, goofy, entertaining little guy. I hated cats before we met him. Isn't it crazy how they just pick you sometimes?

Desk Dreams
Attention... I have a new job.
After 7 years with the same company, I am 2 weeks into a new job with a new company.
I won't bore with details, but let's talk about one of my favorite aspects of this new gig... I'll eventually be able to work from home.
AH!! Right?! Now, maybe it's the fact that I swore off most forms of social media for Lent or perhaps it's just an attempt at shifting my focus from the craziness of my new job, but I've found myself spending an unusual amount of time on Pinterest looking at home offices.
So allow me to fantastize a bit, okay?
Let's start with these AMAZING floating shelves from Shanty 2 Chic, shall we?
I love that this desk is tucked away so neatly in a corner of the room. Considering my home office will have to share space with our guest room, I think this is a great option for me. Those gorgeous shelves are probably my favorite part though....The styling of these shelves is just... Ugh. So perfect. Can't you just see matching, color-coordinated office supplies on that neutral desk and some cute post-it note reminders on that cork board? So obsessed.
Speaking of office supplies... Let's talk about this gorgeous mousepad from Field Trip on Etsy.
Why have I wasted so much of my life using the ugly mouse pads handed out by real estate agents or local businesses? THIS will definitely be a staple in my new home office! I love, love, love this print. Also, you should totally check out her Etsy page and shop the cute mugs, phone cases and coasters. Many of them coordinate and I KNOW I'm not the only one who has ever dreamt of coordinating my mousepad to my phone case.
Back to desks.... I love nothing more than an organized, minimalist space. Rather than stuffing drawers full, or filling up shelves with junk, the baskets on this desk are such a rustic-chic way to hide-away clutter.
Sure, those aren't the floating shelves I raved about above, but how fun is the gold-foiled framed typography on the wall? And I have to admit that I'm a bit sick of chevron, but the shape of that chair is gorgeous as well!
Last but certainly not least... The perfect organizational wall art in this office!
I am obsessed with the cork/white board art on the wall. And I adore the "Office" sign above it! As a Post-It addict and chronic note-taker, I would get so much use out of both and nothing beats functional decor, eh?
I guess the good news is that I'm not able to work from home for at least a few months so there is plenty of time to Pin and plan, shop and craft! Right now our spare room is a bit chaotic as well so I also have time to organize! I'm so excited for this new job and all the opportunities it brings... Just don't judge me if I'm most excited for my new home office....
